Sherwood Farm has been in Stuart’s family for over 70 years, first as a chicken farm, then as a small-holding, growing cut flowers and hay as a home for Stuart, his parents’ Robin & Marion & up to 5 horses over the last 38 years. The name Sherwood Farm comes from his parent’s names & Stuart’s middle name is even ‘John’
After Stu’s dad passed away in spring 2021, Stu and his wife Carol were determined to follow Robin’s path of encouraging as many people as possible to enjoy the space in Soham Fen by making the site into a camping and glamping site, so Sherwood Farm Holidays was born.
Our beautiful site also features 2 wildflower meadows with paths mowed around the perimeter and well-spaced pitches cut into the pasture encompassing 2 x 5 metre bell tents, suitable for up to 4 people and a 6m x 4m Emperor bell tent which will sleep up to 6 guests. Each tent includes full size double beds and bedding, single camp style beds for additional guests (with bedding), small stove and cooking equipment, crockery, glasses and cutlery, solar lighting, outside seating and a fire pit. We even have a travel cot to cater for younger guests (just bring cot bedding) leave the sleeping bags at home.
Ideal for a relaxing break in the Cambridgeshire countryside for a 2 night minimum stay, just let us know your bed/guest requirements and we can accommodate this prior to your arrival. Price for the Bell tents start from £80 per night for 2 people, additional guests from £5pppn. Price for pitching your own tent/trailer tent/campervans, Adults 12 and over £12pppn, 5-11 £5pppn and Under 5’s GO FREE for a minimum two night stay.
